MINUTES OF THE DORRINGTON PARISH COUNCIL EMERGENCY MEETING
Monday 13 May 2024
Present ; Cllrs Drury (Chair), Cllrs Unwin, Jeram, Bell and Hayes

Public Forum
1. Chairperson's welcome: 001/24 The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
2. Apologies and reasons for absence: 002/24: Absent TN illness and PD holiday which was accepted. Cllr Kendrick sent his apology.
3. Declarations of interest in agenda items: 003/24: None
4. Exercise Equipment: 004/24 – Claire was given permission to address the meeting on the joint parish council and homefromhome project. Claire highlighted items on to be purchased. Claire to send quote details to clerk to enable purchase to be formalised. Unanimously agree to purchase. Claire to arrange site visit with provider and inform councillors of time and date so those available can attend
5. Allotment: 005/24 – 2 applications for allotments 1 and 4 have been received. Proposed by BD and seconded by JH that the allotment be let to Donna-Melody Boxall. Carried 4 for and 1 against. Motion carried.
It was unanimously agreed to allow allotment tenant Gillian Skipper permission to erect a greenhouse on her current allotment.
6. Finance:006/24:
It was agreed that following accounts be paid.
Hall rental £ 25.00
Clerk’s expenses £ 108.42
In accordance with financial standing orders it was agreed to transfer £12000 from deposit account to charity account to fund purchase of equipment pending grant monies.
There being no further business the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 20.50.
