Chairman’s report 003/23: He thanked District and County Councillors for their regular attendance throughout the year and thanked all the parish councillor for their regular attendance, special thanks to our clerk for all his work for the parish council.Though it has been a relatively quiet year for the Parish Council, we recently worked closely with Ashby-de-la-Launde Parish Council to achieve a speed reduction on the B1188 through Lincoln Road and Sleaford Road. It is something to we look at in the future to work closely with neighbouring Parish Councils to help achieve our goals.

Once again, we have ended the year the year with a healthy bank balance, however with costs continuing to rise we may need to be more prudent to maintain the status quo.

After starting the year with an almost full number of Parish Councillors we now find ourselves with a small group with a need to try and recruit more councillors as soon as possible.

We all look forward to maintaining the reputation of Dorrington of being a highly regarded place to live.

Election of the Chairman. 003/23 Nominations from TN and PD that Bill Drury be elected as Chairman. He agreed to this and signed the declaration.

Following the recent elections 004/23, all current councillors signed Acceptance of Office and Pecuniary Interest forms which were collated for the attention of the clerk.
